Community Crossroads Resource Center Ground Breaking

On June 20th 2024, Farrior and Sons, Inc. joined Community Crossroads Center, to celebrate the ground breaking of their new Resource Center.
This new 13,720 sq ft Homeless Resource Center and renovation of the existing administrative offices is designed to meet the comprehensive needs of its residents. This new building and renovation will allow Community Crossroads Center to expand resources and services, and assist residents in developing skills and knowledge that will benefit their journey after they leave the shelter. The new building will include an administration area that will serve as the new home for the current staff. The building also provides ample meeting and flex spaces, along with a “medical clinic”, conference room and much needed storage space. The existing administrative offices will be renovated into 6 more family rooms to accommodate more families with children.
The wood framed and brick building was designed for ease of construction, longevity, low maintenance, and to be easily navigable. Separately zoned areas for climate control and high efficient HVAC systems allow the Center to provide comfort in all areas and as well as being adjustable when some areas may be unoccupied. The building will be finished out in washable paint and durable vinyl flooring. The exterior brick, shingles, and aluminum trim provide for a no paint, easily maintainable exterior that compliments the appearance of the existing Homeless Shelter. Additional parking will be provided as well.
Construction should begin in early July and be completed in about ten months.
